Mozart's Christmas Lights 2016

It is that time of year.   The time when I like to drive around and to see Christmas lights.   Last night we went to Mozart's Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin.   The have an amazing light show that starts at 6:00 pm every night and is done once an hour at the top of the hour until 11:00 pm.   The show is 15 minutes long and they have it every night until January 8th.

It was cold last night but we bundled up and purchased hot chocolate.   Salted caramel for me and peppermint for the kiddos, they also had cinnamon and butter rum.  There were selling brownies and macrons.  So we purchased the macrons and sat down at a picnic table and watched the lights.   The show is out side on one wall but the whole area is decorated with thousands of lights.

The light show was choreographed to songs like Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The UT Fight Song, All I want for Christmas Is You, We Three Kings, Let It Go.  It was really fun and my kids enjoyed it.

Parking is limited but there is additional parking across the street.   Hula Hut is next door and has valet if you want to eat dinner there and then see the show.  Dogs are welcome on the patio too.

Enjoy the light show and let me know if you have any must see light shows in the area.
