Star Wars Day May 4th, 2017 "May the 4th be with you"

Did you know today May 4th, 2017 is Star Wars day?   Are you asking yourself what is Star Wars day?  It is celebrated on May 4th every year and it is more than just the day you get to say "May the 4th be with you" in reference to the famous Star War line "May the Force be with you." It started way back in 1979 when Margaret Thatcher become the first woman prime minister of the United Kingdom.  Her party ordered advertising space in the London Evening News that said ‘May the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. Congratulations,’ That is pretty cool.

Today it is celebrated in many different ways.  Not just by posting star wars pics with #Maythe4thbewithyou on social media, which of course I did.  There are special Disney Events today since Disney now owns the Star Wars franchise.  There are movie screenings and Star Wars trivia at bars but more importantly there are a ton of deals on Star Wars related items all over?  Real Deals.
