We have been a few times and last time went with our kids. If you sit out side there is a .75 grassy area next to the restaurant. There are chairs and dogs and we could keep an eye on our kids from the table. They had to cross what looked like a street to get to the grass area but the street was not in use. Metal Barriers were in place to prevent cars. I am not sure if is like this every day but it seemed very family friendly.
True Food Kitchen is not a chicken nugget / butter pasta kind of place for kids. It serves real food. There are totally different kid menu options here like:
- Almond Butter, Banana & Apple Sandwich
- Mozzarella & Organic Tomato Pizza - My Daughter's favorite Pizza anywhere
- Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (pea, broccoli, carrot, brown rice & quinoa)
- Grass-Fed Burger
- Smoked Turkey Sandwich
My kids loved this place and I hope your will too. Think of this as an alternative healthy spot down town that is family friendly. If you are going for dinner I recommend reservations.
